Exclusive Bed and Breakfast Accommodation, Great Oakley, Harwich, Essex
Zig Zag Cottage still retains all of its 18th Century character with
exposed beams and slight floor level differences.
Our guest accommodation is unique and situated mainly on
the upper floor, accessible via an original cast iron spiral staircase.
Regretfully Zig Zag Cottage is therefore not suitable
for people with mobility difficulties or small children
Approach: Zig Zag Cottage is situated in a small road just off the War Memorial square near the May Bush Inn in Great Oakley, Harwich. As there is limited public transport in the village the accommodation is only really suitable for guests with their own transport or use of a hire car. Parking Adequate and lit parking immediately outside main entrance Layout Bedrooms, sitting room and private facilities on upper floor. Spacious dining area with separate WC on ground floor. Help is available with carrying luggage. Smoking Zig Zag Cottage is a non-smoking establishment Safety Smoke alarms are fitted throughout Pets We are unable to accommodate pets Arrival Check in times are from 16:00 hours on the day of arrival, unless otherwise arranged Departure You are required to vacate the rooms by 10:00am on the day of your departure, unless otherwise arranged. Payment We do not require a deposit, but would appreciate either a telephone call or email, to confirm your visit near the time. Regretfully we are unable to accept credit or debit cards. We do accept payment by cash (UK Sterling or Euros) or cheque. Liability Guests are responsible for all breakages or damage caused by them to the accommodation and/or its contents. We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles/possessions, unless proven to be caused by our negligence.
